Asia Bizz: Dell Streak Officially Unveiled In India, Priced At Rs. 34,990
The Dell Streak has been officially unveiled in India, and is priced at Rs. 34,990/- in the Indian market. This latest gadget is a hybrid between a smartphone and a tablet PC, and is very unique indeed. Dell is expecting to receive a strong response from the Indian market in context to this device. The Streak will be sold on the Tata Docomo wireless carrier, which has one of the largest telecommunication market in India.
The Dell Streak is running on the Android 1.6 operating system, and is expected to be upgraded to the 2.2 FroYo by the year end. It has a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 processor, 512 MB ROM and 512 MB RAM which enables this gadget to run as smooth as possible. The 5 inch touch screen is something that catches the eye, and in addition with the 5 mega pixel camera which has an LED flash, it makes this smartphone look very exciting.
