Asia Bizz: BlackBerry Bold 9780 To Officially Debut On T-Mobile

Research In Motion will be launching it’s latest phone, the BlackBerry Bold 9780, which will be debuting in the US market on the T-Mobile wireless carrier. This latest phone comes with some new features and works better than it’s predecessor the 9700. According to the company the 9780 is an extension model to the Bold 9700.

The BlackBerry Bold 9780 features the typical BlackBerry qwerty keypad, a 5 mega pixel camera which also comes with an auto focus, built-in wi-fi and GPS. It has an in-built memory of 512 mb and a micro SD slot that can be expanded to 32GB. In addition to this the phone is running on the BlackBerry 6 operating system.

The company will be launching the phone in US market on the T-Mobile wireless carrier and is said to be priced at $130, with a 2 year contract with T-Mobile. The company is expecting a lot from this phone, especially when it comes to boosting sales for the company. The phone is a mid ranged priced and will be aiming the corporate market in the US and other countries around the world.
