Asia Bizz: The New Pro Tools 9 to launch on the 12th of November at $599

Pro Tool 9 is going to be launched by Avid on the 12th of November and this time Pro Tool comes with a major upgrade, now the mixing software can be made compatible along with third-party interfaces. This is the first time that Avid has done something like this for Pro Tools.

In a press release by Avid they said,

“Pro Tools customers – from the aspiring enthusiast to the professional – can now create sophisticated, great sounding mixes, whether they’re at home, on the road, or working in a large facility using an open, flexible workflow for enhanced collaboration and creativity.”

Now on the latest update is that users can work on Pro Tools in audio interfaces that are supported by ASIO drivers and Core Audio.

A few more upgrades to the Pro Tools are as follows:

OMF/AAF/MXF interchange and MP3 export.
7.1 surround panner with new stereo pan depths.
It also has a built-in Time Code Ruler.

The new Pro Tools 9 will surely be faster and will enable a user to make more mixes. The cost of the Pro Tools 9 is $599 and will be available worldwide from the 12th of November onwards.
