Asia Bizz: Dell Launches XCD35 & XCD28 Mobiles In India
Dell launches the XCD35 and XCD28 line of mobiles in India, which is basically made for the Indian customers only, as per the company statement. This US based company, which is globally famous for its computers and laptops, has launched these two Android based cellphones in the Indian market recently. As per the experts these cellphones may be giving strict competition to other foreign handset companies in India.
Both the models are running on the Android 2.1 OS, and features some high-end technology in them. The following are the specifications for the two available models in India –
Dell XCD35:
* 3.5-inch OLED capacitive touchscreen
* 3 megapixel camera
* Android 2.1 OS
* 600Mhz processor

* 150MB of internal memory (extended upto 32 GB)

Dell XCD28:
* 2.8-inch resistive touchscreen
* 3.15MP camera
* Android 2.1 OS

* 256MB of RAM and 256MB of ROM
* 3G
* Bluetooth
* WiFi
* Music player
The company has said that these mobiles will be available in the Indian market officially in the month of December, and they will be priced quite economically. The XCD35 will cost Rs. 16,900/- and the XCD28 is priced at Rs. 10,990/-.
