Asia Bizz: Google Promises 10% Salary Raise To Its Employees
Google has made it official that it will be providing its employees a 10% raise in their salaries, and some 23,000 employees would be getting a strong incentive package. And it does not halt here, Google will also pay each employee $1000 as a bonus this Christmas, and what can we say about this company, it looks as if it is the best company in the world to work for.
On the other hand the employees need not to worry about the taxes that the would be laid on them when they receive their increments, for Google will be paying the taxes on their behalf. The CEO of Google, Eric Schmidt, has confirmed the news and it has indeed excited everyone this year end.
Every employee in the company will be receiving an email which will be having the precept of the salary raise and bonus. Reports suggest it would be in effect from the 1st of January, or by the beginning of 2011. There were rumors about the raise prior to the official announcement and Google even fired the employee who leaked the news.
