Asia Bizz: Facebook To Announce Facebook Email On November 15
The much awaited Facebook email is ready to be announced on Monday, the 15th of November. The service is named ‘Project Titan’ and will be marked in the special events corner of Facebook, where the users of the social networking site will be made aware of the new project.
The project got its value when the clients based on the email called it as ‘Gmail Killer’. The sources say that the project will be surfaced in the later hours of the day when the events category will mention the Facebook Email service as well.For the time being the service will be made available only to a few users, and later on it will be made available to the millions of other Facebook users.
Project Titan will be available to about 500 million users which will have @facebook.com in their email initials. Facebook email will not only provide the basic email facilities, but the users can now avail facilities that were never available on any other email service.Facebook will now allow the users to forward emails and also send attachments, which is not possible on other social networking sites.
