Asia Bizz: Android And Windows Based Tablets To Come Up Under Brand Name Of Acer

Acer has recently announced that it will be unveiling Android and Windows based tablet PC’s by end of the first quarter of 2011. The announcement was made at a press conference in New York on the 24th of November. Reports state that there will be two models that would be unveiled, one  – a 10.1 inch model will be running on the latest Android system available and the other on an unknown Windows operating system.

Acer has also told the press that both models will have 3G and Wifi in them, and will also come with a gyro-meter control. In addition to this, it will also come with a HDMI port and a next generation AMD processor. The body will be a full aluminium casing that would  make the tablet sturdy and strong.

The Windows device seems to be a business gadget and will feature a docking station and full fledged keyboard. It will also have a more professional appearance as compared to the other tablets in the market. Both tablets would feature a 1.3 mega pixel camera in the front and also the rear.
