Asia Bizz: Acer Aspire D260 Comes Loaded Along With Tata Photon
Acer Aspire D260 Netbook has now been unveiled with the Tata Photon wireless broadband feature, so now internet connectivity can be accessed almost everywhere. The Photon+ module has been embedded on the laptop so one does not need to use a USB modem to access internet on the netbook.
All that one needs to do is get the netbook activated from the nearest Tata dealer so that the internet feature can be accessed. Acer D260 comes with a 10.1 inch screen, which has a 1 GB DDR2 RAM, and a 160GB hard disk. The device is priced at Rs. 18000/- in Mumbai and Delhi, and is powered by a N450 Atom processor.
The netbook also features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, three USB ports and six-cell battery. This will also prove to be a strong competitor in the Indian netbook market. This netbook will be available at Tata Teleservices in Mumbai and Delhi only. Netbooks are basically smaller and lighter than conventional laptops, which are bigger and heavier than them. So commuting with these mini devices is quite easy and comfortable for people who are in the business world.
