Asia Bizz: US based wireless carrier Sprint has unveiled the latest BlackBerry 8830 World Edition smartphone. Sprint is major wireless carrier in the United States and is famous for the low priced calling charges. This time they have introduced the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition in their mobile phone line up and is priced at only $200.
According to RIM, the 8830 is a hybrid version of the GSM/CDMA technology and has been offered to AT&T and T-Mobile too. As usual the smartphone has a full qwerty keypad, QVGA screen and has a media player, but offers no camera. This is really something strange to witness Sprint providing a phone which is a smartphone but has no camera on it.
The SIM card slot is completely a hybrid technology which can run a GSM and a CDMA card also, in addition to this is will run on 900/1800 MHz (Europe/Asia). The phone is already unlocked and there is no need for unlocking the phone rather just insert the SIM and enjoy using this phone.
