Asia Bizz: The Samsung Galaxy S smartphone is reportedly doing extremely well in the market, and according to Samsung, the sales of this model is likely to touch the 10 million units mark before the end of 2010. The latest figures disclosed by the company, show that the Galaxy S will hopefully touch the 10 million mark, if the demand rate continues to remain stable this Christmas holiday season.

The Samsung Galaxy S smartphone is one of the most successful cellphones that has been launched this year, and this can be seen by looking at its sales figures. The company quoted that it actually sold 9.3 million handsets worldwide since it’s launch, and they hope to reach the milestone within a week’s time.

Galaxy S was launched in the month of July and it is considered as one of the most successful Android phones till date. It surpassed many Windows and iOS powered phones and made a threshold for itself. Samsung says the phone will be upgraded to the Android 2.3 Gingerbread very soon.
