Asia Bizz: The Dell XCD28 Smartphone has been launched in India and it is fairly priced at Rs.10000/- in the Indian market. This phone is not exactly a flagship phone for Dell but it will be catering the mid segment buyers of Dell. The phone is fairly priced and as per the price the features and specifications are quite impressive.

The new phone is running on the older version of the Android 2.1, and is powered by a Qualcomm 7227, 600MHz processor. A 2.8 inch full touch screen which has 320×240 pixels QVGA resolution. It also comes with a 3.2 mega pixel camera with CMOS, in addition to this it also has a inbuilt 256MB RAM.

The phone memory can be expanded to 8GB, which is quite decent in a mobile for such a price, Bluetooth and Wifi is standard on the smartphone. It supports MP3 and video in most formats, GPRS, JAVA, and email are common features in all Dell phones. Dell had launched the high end Streak, which is a full fledged smartphone and tablet, but is expensive when it comes to pricing in India.
