Asia Bizz: Global identity IDC is said to end its 24 year old partnership with CyberMedia, and have now planned to commence their own market research from the month of March this year. The unique bond between both the companies will come to an end on the 28th of February this year, as from then onwards they will part ways and begin their own research and business.
It was milestone from both companies, as they came together in the year 1987, to start a partnership and bring a new view to Information Technology in India. CyberMedia has mentioned that it will work on IT and other domain from the future.
Both companies had a huge role in Business Research in India itself, and IDC today is looking forward to invest more in India. The investment will also help the company to solidify is role in information and communications technology (ICT) in India. IDC will commence a business research unit in Bangalore, and is expected to start operating from the first quarter of 2011.
