Asia Bizz: US and China have signed a massive $600 million deal just a day ahead of Hu Jintao’s visit to the States. There are a total of six agreements which have been signed, and this is a move that signifies the strengthening of Sino-US relations. The signing has taken place in Texas, between a business delegation from China and the US.
President Hu Jintao will be in the United States for four days, and this is the first Chinese leader to visit America in almost 13 years. This tour by the Chinese national is expected to become a successful one, as it will ensure the bond between the two global giants.
The agreements which have been signed include cotton imports, CKD imports, agreement on development and application of efficient crystalline silicon solar cells and also PV generation system. And lastly there is a MoU which has been signed between China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) and the Greater Houston Partnership. These deals will also highlight the productive capacity between the two countries and also ensure job creation in both nations.
