Asia Bizz: Japan’s Sharp Corp and Taiwan based electronics company Chimei Innolux have officially entered into partnership in a bid to manufacture LCD TV’s for their global customers. Both companies are going to commence working with each by supplying Liquid Colour Displays for each other’s convenience and it is scheduled to begin from 2011 itself.

Sharp has planned, it will provide Chimei with large LCD displays, so as the company can cut down the power consumption costs incurred in bigger LCD’s. And in return Sharp will begin importing mid-sized LCD for its Japanese customers, this way both companies have entered into a mutual understanding of supplying each other with LCD televisions according to the demand.

Chinese and Japanese manufacturers are facing stiff competition in the world market, especially with cheap LCD’s flooding out of South Korea, thanks to LG and Samsung, they are catering the world with better displays at a lower price. Japanese companies have been bruised strongly when the competition level itself is rising within the Asian continent.
