Asia Bizz: Peugeot Citroen is all set to re-enter into India with its Sedan, and this is the first time the French car maker comes to India after almost 10 years. Peugeot had kept forward the intention to come to India with its cars in the year 2009, but it had to pull its plans back due to the economic slow down in Europe.
The French car manufacturer is indeed quite happy over the fact that it will be entering the Indian market, for it will prove to be commercially and industrially quite profitable for the company. The first step the company will take in India is to bring in a small Sedan for the country, and then later on will bring in higher segment cars.
One of the first Peugeot cars to enter India will be the 307 hatch back and from Citroen the C5. The Citroen C5 is a very beautiful looking sedan and it will be a perfect car for India’s high end segment. Citroen and Peugeot has been success in Europe and some parts of Asia, today the company is looking at India as a major market.
