Asia Bizz: The HTC Flyer tablet has been unveiled today, and this was one of the most awaited Chinese manufactured tablets in the market, so now is it a value for money product. In terms of hardware, this tablet PC is way too ahead, as it is powered by a 1.5Ghz processor and is running on the Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system.
3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity are standard feature on this device, also it has a 7 inch screen and is the first HTC device to run on the HTC Sense software. Along with the 1.5Ghz processor it houses 1GB of RAM, which lets the Flyer soar in speed.
HTC Flyer also has a big camera in the rear, which comes with a 5 megapixel lens and the front facing has a 1.3 mega pixel eye. HTC officials have said, the device can easily support Flash 10 and HTML 5 based applications. Price has always been the most important question, and if one considers the features of this device, but the under the brand name of HTC, it should be reasonable. It could be more exciting if the device is priced along with the Dell Streak tablet, so it may have a stronger VFM.
