Asia Bizz: DishTV, one of India’s famous direct to home service providers, has added 30 new high definition channels to its list. From now onwards, DishTV users will have more high definition (HD) channel options to go for and this is one of the most interactive ways to promote the device in the market.

The following are the new HD channels which have been launched on DishTV – Zee TV, Zee Cinema, Zee news, Zee Studios, Zee Café, Movies Now, National Geographic, Discovery, HBO, Animal Planet, Zee Talkies, Zee Bangla, Zee Telugu, Zee Kanada, WB, Times Now, ET Now, POGO, Cartoon Network, Ten Sports, Ten Cricket, VH1, MTV,  Sony Pix, UTV Action, TLC, Sony, Colors and UTV Movies.

These channels can be viewed only through the DishTV Tru HD box which is available in the market for Rs. 2,390/-. 15 new channels on the device will be offered at Rs.150/- only, which does not sound as an exciting deal for watching HD channels. DishTV has been doing quite well in the market, especially since it has launched low priced channels across the nation and gives strict competition to other providers like TataSky and Big TV.
