Asia Bizz: India’s Tata Motors – best known to have produced the world’s cheapest car, the Tata Nano – has now showcased one of its latest creations named the “Tata Pixel” city car at the Geneva Motor Show 2011. Tata Pixel is a revolutionary car which has been indigenously made by India’s top car manufacturer, so what is so unique about this vehicle?

According to the auto experts, this car will flush out the issues of parking in cramped spaces, for it can literally turn 180 degrees without moving in any direction. This manoeuvre is possible because the rear wheels of the car too turn along with the front wheels, only if controlled.

CEO Carl-Peter Forster told the media that this car will make a strong hold in Europe for there is dire need to solve parking woes in many major cities. It comes with a tiny 1.2 ltr engine giving out a mind blowing fuel efficiency along with low CO2 emissions. Other features on the Pixel include voice activation system and sweeping sunroof powered by an interface called ‘My Tata Connect’. And did we mention it is a 4 seater?

The production plans of this vehicle are still to be disclosed by Tata Motors.
