Asia Bizz: China’s cellphone manufacturing giant, HTC has launched the Desire Z Android smartphone in India – one of the world’s largest cellphone markets.  HTC has been performing exceptionally well in India and the Desire Z should surely make a strong sale statement in the coming future, thanks to it’s features and reasonable price.

The phone comes with some swell features including  an Android 2.2 FroYo OS and a 3.7 inch touch screen, a small QWERTY keypad slide for emails and quick texts. The 5 mega pixel camera comes with HD recording, and it has a 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 microprocessor which runs this device with great ease.

To make the operation on the Desire Z more fluent and smooth, it has an inbuilt 512MB RAM. One can use the internet on the gadget with speeds exceeding 14MBPS and it also comes with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. Other standard features include Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, FM Radio, A-GPS, Digital compass, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and has 3.5mm audio port. The company states that this shall be a new experience for Desire Z users in India.

The HTC Desire Z has been priced at Rs. 25,590/- in the Indian market, comparatively ranging as a high end cellphone in the country. It is also reported to be available online for a discounted price.
