Asia Bizz: Hyundai Motors India has managed to become the Asian nation’s second largest car manufacturer after Maruti Suzuki India and today, the company announced that they have upgraded the sedan accent with a new edition called the “Accent Executive 2011 edition”.

The new Accent in India is made for professional executives and comes with a new chrome finish in the front grille of the sedan; the sideline moldings across the body is also filled with a lot of chrome parts. Apart from this, the car also has a chrome garnish over the license plate. Hyundai says that the new Accent this year is made more elegant and will be more desirable. The company is very confident with this edition and they feel the sedan will be more popular.

The Hyundai Accent was launched 12 year back in the year 1999 in India and now with the rising fuel prices is available in LPG and well as CNG. The Korean company has established a strong hold in the Indian market right from the start since the launch of the car Hyundai Santro.

The cost of the new Accent Executive edition is around Indian Rs 5.01 lakh. The India Hyundai motors exports cars to more than 115 countries and has a plant in Sriperumbudur, Chennai, India.
