Asia Bizz: India’s low-cost carrier IndiGo Airlines has announced that it will add four new domestic flights in India that will fly between Indore to Delhi, Srinagar, Bangalore and Nagpur. The announcement was made on Wednesday and the flights will be launched on April 2, 2011.

IndiGo’s Sanjay Kumar said that the launch of these new flights will give customers a lot more flexibility and will facilitate better connectivity to the central parts of India. In addition to this, the budget-airline’s economically priced tickets will also help in meeting the growing needs of people flying from Indore, MP.

The news of the launch is warmly welcomed by the people who travel from Indore. IndiGo airlines will add the 38th new Airbus A-320 into its growing fleet, which will see non-stop daily flights operating between the capital Delhi and Indore, as well as Nagpur and Indore.

IndiGo Airlines also revealed that they will be launching 14 more planes, in addition to recruiting 1,500 people as part of its plans to expand in the next financial year. The new planes aim at connecting to south-east Asia and West Asia, and is likely to take place in August-September this year.

At present, IndigGo airline connects 26 destinations in India and operated around 253  flights everyday.
