Asia Bizz: Storage devices manufacturer, Kingston Digital has launched a new Wi Drive exclusively for the Apple iPad and iPhone users. Kingston has till now known for its quality storage devises and now the company has gone a step ahead by making things easy for the Apple users.
Wi Drive is a wireless storage device, which is exclusively for the iPad, iPod Touch and the iPhone 3G/3GS/ 4. A USB port also has been provided in the device to make it compatible with the other non-Mac PCs.
The USB facility thus allows the user to transfer the data in to the device and access it from the devices of iPad, iPod and iPhone. The Wi Drive is available in two storage options of 16 GB and 32 GB which comes with a mini USB to USB cable.
A special application has also been launched by Kingston, which helps the Wi Drive users make it compatible for the iPod touch, iPad and iPhone. The device can support files of MP3, AAC, MOV, MP4 and many other audio and video formats. For images and files, the device can read PDF, JPG and other formats needed to read the documents. With the launch of the device, the price of the device has not yet been disclosed.
