Asia Bizz: Mobile manufacturing company Spice Mobile has recently launched its new ‘Transformer’ M-5500 phone. The phone is set to sell like hotcakes to India’s movie buffs as it is based on a top Hollywood movie.

If you might be wondering why the phone is called ‘Transformer’ is due to the fact that the company has tied up with the Hollywood movie Transformers 3 and it transforms itself from a bar phone into a smart touch screen phone in just a flash. The company has signed in an agreement with Hasbro, which is the official licensing partner of the latest movie Transformers 3.

The phone will come preloaded with all the exciting stuff from the movie which will include wallpapers, themes, videos and much more for the users. The Transformer M-5500 phone also happens to be India’s first Transformer phone.

The features of the M-5500 phone include a 1.3 Mega Pixel camera and video recording, memory which can be expandable up to 8GB, FM, MP3 player, FM transmitter, stereo Bluetooth. The cost of the phone in the Indian market will be Rs. 4,599 and will be available in red, yellow and, white colors. The phone will be made available in the Indian market in the month of July.
