Asia Bizz: German car manufacture, Audi is reportedly planning on launching its low-cost SUV Q3 in the Indian market soon. The report was allegedly confirmed by Peter Schwarzenbauer, the sales head of Audi AG.
Peter said that the Audi Q3 will be the ideal car for the Indian market, which will be launching in the Asian country next year. The Indian market is slowly picking up for the SUVs, after BMW had launched the X1 earlier last year.
Looking at the trends, even Skoda went ahead and launched its mini SUV Yeti in the same segment. The Q3 is the much awaited car for Indian customers and will soon be running on the Indian roads – mainly the cities.
The company will be launching three variants in the Indian market, 2.0 L TDI, 2.0 L TFSI and Quattro 4WD. It has been predicted that the 2.0 L TDI will be the one which will be in demand as the petrol prices in India are rising and a diesel SUV will come as a relief for the consumers. Some of the features of the Audi Q3 include energy recovery system, start-stop system, four-link rear suspension, electromechanical power steering, optional adaptive dampers, and a number of such amazing features which are enough to lure the customers.
