Asia Bizz: On Tuesday, German luxury car maker, Audi, launched its RS 5 sports coupe in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The Audi RS 5 has been priced at Rs. 77.35 lakhs ex-showroom in the market in Andhra Pradesh.
The dealers in Hyderabad have already sold two units of the car and have aimed to sell 300 units this year. Rajiv M Sanghvi, the managing Director of Audi Hyderabad, has said that after the dealership was opened three years back, they have since then sold 550 Audi cars in the city.
Sanghvi added that the new Audi, which has till now won many global awards, will help in boosting the sales further. The new Audi RS 5 has a roaring V8 engine that generates 444 bhp and 430 nm torque and a new wheel drive system.
For all the speed lovers, the RS 5 has a top speed of 280 kmph. Due to the S Tronic dual clutch semi automatic gear box, the new Audi shoots from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4. 6 seconds. Michael Perschke, the head of Audi India has said that the new Audi RS 5 is totally unmatched in terms of performance and style. With the launch of the RS 5, it is expected to improve the position of the sports car segment.
