Asia Bizz: With some great products recently introduced in the tablet market in India, the competition has become stiff for global tablet manufacturers. There are still many products that are yet to be launched, due to which it has become even more difficult for the customers to choose from. To add to the new tabs, EAFT technologies will soon be launching another tablet in the market.
The Bangalore-based company has named it Magic Tile-Marathon, which runs on Android with NVIDIA Tegra 2. The 10.1 inch tablet comes power packed with full HD 1080p playback along with Flash 10.1 Support.
The Magic Tile-Marathon will be introduced in the Indian market to compete with the already existing tablets like ICONIA A500, Xoom and the most poplar iPad2. The new tablet has an internal storage capacity of 512 MB to run the apps and the OS, which seems like the drawback.
The Magic Tile-Marathon tab is powered by Android 2.2 Froyo. Pankaj Verma, the engineering manager of EAFT while talking about the inclusion of the Android Froyo, said that they had taken the decision to add the Froyo instead of the Honeycomb, due to the fact that it was the most stable of the whole lot. The tablet also supports 3G and has USB ports to attach a keyboard or a mouse.
