Asia Bizz: Telecom company Vodafone Essar, recently announced the launch of its new mobile newspaper. The new Newswrap has been introduced for the subscribers in the state of Tamil Nadu in India.
The subscribers can now stay updated with the latest news on their mobile phones. The news will be received on the mobile phones in the form of an MMS and the users will get to know about the whereabouts of the world.
Reports state that subscribers will be receiving news alerts regularly in the morning and in the evening. In addition to the regular updates, the subscribers can also access the breaking news at their finger tips.
The new service provides the users with a brief synopsis of the of the news along with the pictures so that the readers can get a proper idea of the news. The daily alert pack can be subscribed at Re.1 and the weekly alert can be subscribed at Rs. 5 and for those who want to get news alerts the whole month can get it at Rs 20. The interesting part is that the Newwrap can be accessed by all kind of users as it provides new for the different genres like sports, national, international, current affairs, business and entertainment and many more.
