Asia Bizz: A new survey by mobile app developers has said that Google+ which is the latest in the social networking market has the capability to catch up with Facebook. The survey also said that iCloud, which is soon going to be released by Apple might significantly disrupt the mobile space.

The survey had 2,012 developers, which was conducted by Appcelerator and IDC July 20-22. The survey had mainly focused on the perceptions about the priorities of the mobile operating system.

According to the Mobile Developer Report, Apple and Google are now trying their best by redefining the mobile app engagement. The companies is also trying to accelerate the their lead in cloud connectivity, loyalty with the help of their new Google + and iCloud offerings.

Most of the developers believe that Google+ will soon catch up with Facebook due to its assets like Maps and YouTube. Many of them also say that Google+ gains extra points in terms of innovation with the features like sparks, circles and hangouts. Many of the developers have also put Facebook in the first position. Google+ has also already drawn 5 million users which has made it the fastest website to reach the audience size.
