Asia Bizz: Electronics manufacturing giant Sony has recently revealed the official details of its first touch screen Android Walkman. The Walkman phone will be released in Japan on 10th December 2011.

The Android Walkman phone will be released with 16GB, 32 GB and 64 GB capacities. The Walkman Z series will be powered by a 1GHz dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, 512 MB Ram along with Android 2.3 OS.

The other features of the phone include 4.3 inch LCD screen and will be available in red black and a special limited violet edition Sony Store. The smartphone will also have a built in GPS and gyroscope, which will make it relevant with the other variety of games.

The connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802, Bluetooth 2.1, mini USB and DNLA. The Z series can have a full access to the Android market, plus an amazing battery life of 20 hours of music playback and five hours of video. The Walkman phone can support a vast number of file types like WMA, MP3, ATRAC, Linear PCM, AAC, HE-AAC, etc. The smartphone also has a FM radio. Further sound enhancements are also included by the company – it also has built-in speakers that will allow the users to listen music loud.
