Asia Bizz: Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. have announced the launch of a global SUV under its brand called the Mahindra XUV 500, which will be unveiled on the 28th September. As per company officials, the vehicle’s specification, technology and price will be disclosed a day after the launch.
Manufactured at the Chakan plant, the XUV 500 is aimed directly to the customer’s satisfaction. There was a lot of stress given on the R&D of the SUV, so quality, style and technology has been given special attention by the company.
Mahindra has been quite successful in the market in the recent years, especially after the launch of the Scorpio, Xylo and Thar vehicles in the country; now the Indian company is aiming towards a global audience. There has been a flutter in the market since the announcement of the XUV 500, as it is a SUV there will be strong competition in India as there are many rivals present here.
