Asia Bizz: Electronics giant Samsung has recently launched three new phones Wave 3, Omnia W and Galaxy Y in the Indian market on October 3, 2011. Among the three phones, the new Wave 3 phone has been powered by the company’s own Bada 2.0 platform.

The much awaited Samsung Wave 3 has a 1.4 GHz processor along with 4-inch Super AMOLED display. The phone has a slim body design in a 9.9 mm brushed metal case and has been priced at Rs. 19,600. The Wave 3 has also been integrated with Music Hub and Social Hub for downloading tracks and albums.

On the other hand, the Samsung Omnia W comes powered by Windows Phone 7.5 Mango and is also powered by a Qualcomm single core processor of 1.4 GHz. The Omnia W has 8 GB internal memory and has 512 MB RAM. It is also equipped with a 5-megapixel camera, with LED flash and also a front VGA camera for video calling. The Omnia W has been priced at Rs 19,990.

The third phone, the Samsung Galaxy Y, has a 832MHz processor, 160 MB internal memory and 2 GB phone memory that can be extended to 32 GB. The Galaxy Y features a 3-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display, with a 2-megapixel camera. The Samsung Galaxy Y has been prices at Rs. 7,830.

The three new Samsung phones are expected to be available in November 2011.
