Asia Bizz: Auto manufacturer Renault India has recently announced that it will soon be revealing a new small car in the Indian market. The company official announced that it would be revealing their first small car built on the V platform on 29th October 2011.
The new small car will be revealed just a day before the First Indian Grand Prix championship. The car has been built on the same platform as of the Nissan Micra.
Meanwhile, the company is testing the Renault Modus in India on various occasions. Renault is currently doing the validation tests in India; it is built on the B platform and is different from the V Platform hatchback.
The Modus will also soon be launched in the Indian market. Some of the sources from the company have said that the new small car of the V platform will be placed above the Micra, which is also built on the same platform. The new small car of Renault will thus attract more customers than the hatchback of Nissan. However, such reports will not be receiving any confirmation any time soon as the new car by Renault will only be revealed on 29th October. No further details on the car a have not been revealed and the price, variants and features would be revealed on a later date.
