Asia Bizz: Tablet manufacturer Motorola has recently confirmed that the Xoom 2 tablet is under process and will soon be launched. On 2nd November, the American company confirmed that the Xoom 2 tablets would be available in two models.

Some of the glimpses of the models were leaked in the month of September and the features that have been announced are exactly those which were expected by the consumers. The Xoom 2 will be available in 8.2 as well as 10.1 versions.

Victoria McManus, the marketing director of the Motorola Mobility has said that tablets are fast becoming a bare essential tool to stay connected and also to get the work done at home and on the go. McManus added that they are excited to introduce the two models to the tablet portfolio that has been built on the already successful platform of Xoom.

The marketing director also said that the new Xoom would be able to deliver more powerful tablet experience for the European market. The tablets will have a common processor of 1.2 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. The tablets would also feature 5 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front camera. But instead of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich the tablets would be shipped with Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
