Asia Bizz: Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturing giant HTC unveiled its Rezound for the smartphone segment in the US on 3rd November. The company in a press conference in New York rolled out its new smartphone for the US market.
The specialty of the phone is its thundering bass, crisp highs as well as its soaring midrange. The Rezound smartphone has been powered by Android 2.3 with a 1.5 GHz dual core processor 1GB RAM, 16 GB of on board memory and an 8 megapixel rear-camera with LED flash.
It has a 4.3-inch super LCD screen and the device can be upgraded to Android 4.0 in the Q1 2012. The smartphone comes along with special head phones and will be available in the stores in 14th November 2011 for $299.
Jimmy Iovine, the co-founder of Beats Audio has said that the company is aware of the destruction of the audio by the digital revolution. The company has thus brought the feeling from the studio straight to the smartphone. Iovine added that this is just the beginning of their plan to fix how music is delivered. The Rezound will be available online in Verizon stores as well as in Best Buy from 14th November.
