Asia Bizz: Indian auto giant Tata Motors Ltd. introduced its Land Rover’s Evoque from the sports utility segment for the Indian market on 4th November. The price of all the Range Rover Evoque cars would start from Rs. 44. 75 lakhs in the showrooms in Mumbai, India.

Jaguar and Land Rover would be selling four variants of the Evoque with the top end version coming at a price of Rs. 5.67 million. It will be made available in 5 door as well as Coupe body styles. The 5 door version will be available in diesel version while the Coupe style will be available in petrol variant.

The Range River Evoque 5 door will be available in three derivatives, Pure, Prestige and Dynamic. On the other hand, the Coupe will be available only Dynamic form.

The Evoque was unveiled in July 2010, but went on sale in the UK in the month of September this year. Till now, the company has received 30,000 bookings for the Evoque. In India, apart from Mumbai the Evoque would be travelling to some of the other major cities too in the months of November and December 2011. The new Land Rover comes jam packed with technological features which include Bluetooth connectivity, high resolution touch screen, 11 speaker audio system, Terrain response, interior mood lighting and cruise control.
