Asia Bizz: Indian telecom operators Aircel and Airtel, in separate statements, made an announcement on November 11, 2011 that they would soon be introducing the iPhone 4S in the Indian market. The official page of Aircel on Facebook mentioned that they would soon be launching the latest smartphone of the iPhone and the details of the launch would soon be revealed.
A similar update was seen on the official Facebook page of Airtel which stated that the company would soon be launching the iPhone 4S in India. The latest Apple phone was launched by the company in the month of October 2011.
The iPhone 4S is very similar to that of iPhone 4 in terms of design, shape and size and was officially launched on October 14, 2011 in the US market. Some of the additional features of the new iPhone 4S have made the smartphone a hit among those who have been able to get their hands on it.
The new iPhone 4S has been powered by a dual core Cortex A9 CPU and also VR SGX 543MP2 GPU, that is a potent combination. The smartphone offers GSM as well as CDMA connectivity and the major attraction of the new iPhone is its camera quality which is of 8 mega pixel.
