Asia Bizz: South Korean mobile phone manufacturer Samsung will soon be launching a new smartphone which has a large screen. The new phone Galaxy Note will be launched in the Indian market on 2nd November 2011.

The launch event will be streamed live from 12:30 pm to 01: 30 pm on the same day.

For now, the new Galaxy Note hold the record for the largest display with 5.29 inches. The new Galaxy Note will have a 2.3 Android OS and will be powered by 1.4 GHz dual core processor.

The other features of the phone include 2-megapixel front camera and 8-megapixel rear camera. In terms of memory, the phone will have an internal memory of 16 GB which can be expandable up to 32 GB with a micro SD card.

The company is yet to announce the pricing of the Galaxy Note for the Indian market. The phone will be launched in the UK this Thursday and the price of it in the UK is expected to be £594. The phone has already been launched abroad and is known for its unique massive display feature. Moreover the device is also relatively thin and is not even heavy with just 178 gms. The Note has been named so due to its S Pen feature to take notes and even write with the capacitive stylus.
