The much awaited smartphone by Apple, the iPhone 4S will hit the Indian stores from midnight on November 25, 2011. The new iPhone 4S will be launched by the leading telecom companies Airtel and Aircel.

The latest smartphone by Apple has been priced between Rs. 44,500 and Rs. 57,500 in the Indian market. The prospective customers can purchase the 16 GB variant at Rs. 44,500, 32 GB variant at Rs. 50,900 and the 64 GB variant at Rs. 57,500.

The pre-bookings of the iPhone 4S begun on November 18 and would be available at the retail stores of Airtel and Aircel from Midnight. Meanwhile, the Indian market already has some of the other Apple products like the iPhone 3GS that has been priced at Rs. 20,900 for the 8 GB version and the iPhone 4 that has been priced at Rs. 37, 900.

Talking about the features of the iPhone 4S, it has been powered by the new iOS 5 Operating System, 3.5 inch display, dual core A5 chip processor. The company claims that the new iOS operating system would offer faster browsing to the users along with enhanced experience. When the pricing of the new iPhone 4S was revealed to the Indian users, the company was severely criticized as the same smartphone is available at 25% less cost in the US market.
