Asia Bizz: Mobile phone giant Motorola Mobility has officially announced its new smartphone XT615 on November 28, 2011, that will be based on the Android 2.3 OS for the Chinese market. The new smartphone has a unique Moto Switch user interface which allows the smartphone to recognize the user listens to.

The new technology will also keep a watch on whom the user talks to and also the apps the user uses the most. This technology helps the user as it would keep all the information front and centre.

The XT615 is just 9.8 mm thin and has a 4-inch touchscreen. The other features of the phone include a 8 megapixel camera, 3G hot spot, Quad band GSM, USB 2.0, WLAN and a battery of 1390 mAH.

Apart from the regular features, the new smartphone would also feature a gravity sensor, eCompass, contact sensor and would be available in two colors ultra white and licorice. Frank Meng, the Motorola Mobility China corporate vice president and president, said Motorola has always attempted to connect style with technology. Meng added that along with style and technology, the new Motorola XT615 also comes with a price that it too good to be true. This will make the smartphone approachable to more people than before.
