Asia Bizz: Popular dish to home service Tata Sky has now introduced a new Video On Demand service in India. The new service offers the customers of the Tata Sky’s DTH High Definition easy access to films and TV series.
Reports have said that the new service by Tata Sky will provide users access to thousands of movies of various genres and languages. Moreover, with the help of the new VOD service the subscribers can now have access to the episodes that they missed at the time of its telecast.
The TV programs can be accessed for the last five days of their transmission. Vikram Mehra, the chief marketing officer of Tata Sky, while talking about the launch of the new series, said that the new service has been designed to fulfill the demands of the customers.
Mehra added that the company is constantly trying its best to remain committed to its customers by providing the best service in the TV technology. The new VOD service can be accessed by connecting the set top boxes to their broadband connection through the Ethernet cable. The customers can select the videos of their choice from the available title-based search function on the menu. For the first month the service will be available for free and later the customers will have to pay an amount for every download of the movie.
