Asia Bizz: Indian auto giant Tata Motors are now taking steps in preparing to give a good sales push to its Aria in the sports utility vehicle (SUV) segment. A few steps are being taken by the company to woo customers towards the SUV by reducing the price and also improving the consumer interface.
In the recent times, it was observed that the company was struggling with the sales target of the Aria after its launch in the year 2010. The XUV of Mahindra & Mahindra is priced much lower than that of the Aria at Rs. 12.91 lakh.
But now Tata, in a special anniversary offer, is offering the SUV at just Rs. 9.9 lakhs, which is a significant cut in the price and has now beaten the price of M&M’s XUV 500. Moreover, the company has also launched a special ‘Rapid Resolution Team’ for its Aria.
The team will help in fast tracking the complaints regarding the vehicle. All the issues related to the car will be addressed by the team. Apart from the Indian market, the company is now planning to launch the Aria in the South African market, where M&M’s XUV 500 has already been launched. All the attempts are being made by company so as to increase the decreasing sales.
