Asia Bizz: Indian railways is now soon going to launch a new method to book tickets for all travelers who prefer the faster way. Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) have recently unveiled their new mobile portal irctc.co.in/mobile.
The passengers can now experience the convenience of booking train tickets on their mobile phones.
The move has been made after considering the massive usage of mobile phones and their connectivity to the internet. The users have to just complete the initial registration and also download the required software to book rail tickets.
Once the booking has been done, the users will receive their railway ticket booking details and the date of journey as well as the train number. Moreover, the users will not have to take a printout of the ticket.
The passengers will receive a virtual message once the booking is done. When asked, the passengers will have to just produce the message which will be equivalent to the print out of the e-ticket. The users will require an internet connection on their mobile phones to book the tickets. The service is expected to be rolled out soon.
