Asia Bizz: Chinese-based telecommunications and network solutions provider ZTE has launched its ZTE V9+ tablet and two of its top notched Android smartphones – ZTE Racer Blade and ZTE Blade – in Bangkok on January 16, 2012. The company has collaborated with Wireless Device Supply (WDS), which is China’s largest mobile phone distributor.
ZTE managing director Zhang Xiaoke said that it is quite confident about its first venture of introducing smart digital products in the booming market in Thailand. During a joint press conference with WDS said that ZTE, Zhang stated that the company is pleased to work with WDS and bring customers affordable devices with unique functions which enhance the mobile experience.
The managing director added that Thailand is a 100 percent open market to terminal products and they are confident of stepping into the smartphone market in Thailand.
The smartphones that are introduced are ZTE Racer Blade and ZTE Blade.
The tablet PC, ZTE V9+, is equipped with full-fledged functions at the value price in order to satisfy the demands and the requirements in the market. The company revealed that ZTE’s smartphone shipment has exceeded 12 million, which has increased by 400 percent on a year on year basis. The figure is now expected to double in the year 2012.
