Asia Bizz: Mobile phone manufacturer Samsung has announced a new operating system update for its Samsung Galaxy Ace SmartPhone in India. This has indicated that the company is updating its Android operating system to Android 2.3.6 for Galaxy Ace S5830.

Reports state that the update is available through Samsung’s dedicated software Kies; but the update will be made available in India for its customers in a gradual manner.

The users with the help of the new update can expect some bug fixes. The Galaxy Ace S5830 has got a number of users along with a range of features since its launch in February 2011.

The phone has a TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 320 X 480 pixels of resolution. The Galaxy Ace has an expandable memory of 32 GB with a RAM of 278 MB. The smartphone also has Wi-Fi connection of 802.2 version which makes it idle for network as well as internet activities. It also has a powerful battery which provides a standby time of 640 hours for 2G and 420 hours for 3G. One can expect a talk time of 11 hours on 2G and 6 hours on 3G. The Galaxy Ace also has 5 MP camera with LED flash, auto focus and face and smile detection.
