Asia Bizz: Kobian has recently announced their new Mercury mTab Neo for the Indian market. The new entrant in the tablet PC segment of the country runs on a 1 GHz dual core processor and runs on the operating system Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The other connectivity features of the new tablet include Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, in-built 3G with GSM/WCDMA. The new mTab also comes with a mini USB port with HDMI output and TF card slot and runs on a 4000 mAh battery.
Country manager Sushmita Das of Kobian India, said that the new mTab Neo summarises convenience and convergence. Das added that the product has the functionality of two devices which makes the overall experience and usage more friendly and convenient.
The country manager also said that at Mercury, they constantly strive to bring products with new ideas and also help in making technology simpler as well as affordable to all. Das added that the connectivity features battery back up and the dual camera makes it a complete package which is needed in the growing market of tablets. It has a 0.3 front camera and a 2 MP rear camera, with dual built in speakers. The mTab has also been integrated with SIM support which enables the users to make calls.
