Asia Bizz: Indian auto giant Mahindra is all set to launch its new Xylo on February 8, 2012 at an event in Delhi. After the launch of the Xylo in the year 2009, the company has given the MPV its first facelift.

Moreover, the company will also be launching the 5-seater mini Xylo in the month of April 2012. With some of the spy pictures of the new Xylo on the internet, it seems like the new Xylo has a lot more mature look which will be pleasing to the eyes.

Many of the features of the new Xylo make it resemble the XUV500. The new Xylo will have new redesigned headlamps with the turn indicators placed differently.

The grille also has been given a new look with more towards the rectangular shape with sleeker slats. Overall, the new Xylo has a visual appeal for the prospective buyers. Even the Mahindra badge has been restyled to give a broader stance to the MPV. In terms of the side profile, not many changes have been made yet. It is just the rear portion of the MPV which stand out in terms of the face lift. In terms of the engine there are possibilities that the new Xylo will have a 2.2 litre mHawk engine that put out 120 PS of power and 290 Nm of torque.
