Due to this it covers about 60% of the total car sales in the country. Till now Suzuki did not have a presence in this booming segment in Indonesia so is now planning something big with the new Ertiga. The new vehicle will be sold through Suzuki Indomobil Motor (SIM), who will have a target of a sake of more than 50,000 units of the Ertiga in the first year itself. Moreover, so as to keep the cost of the vehicle competitive, the vehicles will not be imported in India and will be locally produced by SIM in Indonesia.
