American computer software company Adobe on April 24, 2012 launched its latest version of its Creative Suite of products for the Indian market. The new products feature functionality and support for ten Indian languages in its InDesign software.
The new Creative Suite is a collection of graphic designs, video editing as well as web development applications like Photoshop , InDesign, Acrobat and Illustrator. The products mainly aims for the professional designing, entertainment and media industries.
The products that have been launched include Master Collection which costs Rs. 1.56 lakh Production Premium and Design and Web Premium that costs Rs. 1014 lakh and Design Standard at Rs. 78,288. Umang Bedi, the managing director of Adobe Systems South Asia, while talking to the reporters said, “This release is particularly significant for the large Indian creative community, which is riding a wave of digital printing, media and connectivity proliferation in the country”.
Bedi added that the new products will help the company strengthen its presence in the local market. The MD also said that India is a very strong market for them and their products and it is evident that about 33 percent their workforce is here.
