Indian two wheeler manufacturing giant TVS Motors has on April 30, 2012 launched the new Apache RTR 2012 series. The new series has been launched after incorporating certain cosmetic changes.
A statement from the company said that the new RTR series has been launched with the new beast theme styling. The statement said, “The new design, all lines pulled back, excesses eliminated and curves chiseled to perfection, synergises with a high performance powertrain to look dynamic”.
The new design has been incorporated in all the Apache models including the RTR 160, RTR 180 and RTR 180 ABS. Moreover, the new models will also be having new pilot lamps incorporated with LED light and a new aerodynamic styling, which reduces the heat of the engine.
HS Goindi, the TVS Motor Company president said, “We have taken the Apache RTR to the next level with obsessive engineering and menacing design. The priority in every step of the Apache brand’s development has been race bred performance.” The new TVS Apache RTR 160 is available in four dual tone colors , green, red, Yellow and grey with black as the base colour. The new series from TVS is priced from Rs. 67,505 ex showroom Delhi up to Rs. 82,780.
