To add more competition to the already flourishing tablet market, Go Tech Digital Pvt Ltd has on May 17, 2012 launched its two affordable Android based tablets. The company has launched Funtab Fusion and Fonetab for the Indian market.

Go Tech with the launch of the new tablets aims to sell at least 10,000 of the two new devices in the next quarter. The new Funtab fusion has been priced at Rs. 3,999, while the Fonetab which comes with an additional SIM slot has been priced at Rs. 6,999.

For the marketing the company has targeted tier 2 and tier 3 cities for its products. Go Tech is also in talks with the corporates and educational institutes for selling the devices.

Gaurav Khanna, the managing director of GO Tech while unveiling the tablets said, “We are very happy to launch two new tablet PCs which are designed keeping youth in mind. Fun and education are two important aspect of a youth’s life; and with this launch we have tried to meet their experience.” The Funtab Fusion has a 7 inch capacitive screen with dual touch facility. The device has been powered by 800 MHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
